Immigration Law - United States

Immigration to the US is governed by the US Immigration and Nationality Act of 1990 (INA) and the regulations of US Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS).   US immigration and visas are divided into Employment-Based and Family categories.  Most Family categories are accompanied by limited annual quotas for visas, which result in significant backlogs to applicants from high-immigration nations like China, India and the Philippines.  Most Employment-Based categories also are limited by annual quotas and most require employer sponsorship.  T.D. Knowles & Associates can work with you to evaluate your immigration or visa options to work and live in the US.
